I have struggled putting together John’s stocking this year, unlike the girls who are easy to buy smaller, budget friendly gifts for, he doesn’t need anything. However I do still have a few ideas and so I thought I would write up a short post to share them with you today.
There must be a few things a bath won’t fix, but I don’t know of many!

If life gives you lemons, make a gin and tonic.
Dingle Distillery gin*
It's the most wonderful time of the year!
Bottle opener
Unless the man in your life is teetotal, a bottle opener makes a fine addition to their stocking this Christmas. You can find such fun different options. John had an Everton one a few years ago which is also a magnet so sits on our fridge all year round. This year I found a fantastic Santa one to add in, which will only come out at Christmas but was fun and cheap!
Age doesn't define maturity, some people will never grow up.
Lego mini figures
Whoever said that Lego is a toy and so only for children was wrong. Really wrong. John loves Lego, possible more than the girls do! He has the most amazing large sets like a giant Yoda and Millenium Falcon but obviously they aren't really stocking filler ideas. Mini figures however are budget friendly and come in so many options, including Christmas ones! They make fabulous stocking fillers for him.
Families are like fudge; mostly sweet with a few nuts.
Copperpot Cornish clotted cream fudge*
It’s gonna be a ‘knock your socks off’ thing.
Socks
Socks are always a good bet for popping inside the man in your life’s stocking. John makes holes in socks like they are going out of fashion, and the ones that he doesn’t tend to disappear one of a pair at a time to the sock monster. You can buy cheap, good quality, fun socks from budget friendly stores like Primark and supermarkets too! I love having a look in places like Asda and Tesco too.
Every time I say the word ‘diet’ I wash my mouth out with chocolate.
Miniature chocolate boxes and bars
Accept all kinds of people, even those who use mild sauce.
Encona Limited Edition Carolina Reaper Chilli Sauce
A picture is worth a thousand words but the memory is priceless.
Photo magnets
I had the opportunity to work with Cheerz to review some of their products (read the review here!) but I have to say that one of my favourites has to be the amazing photo magnets. I have a wide selection of photos of our lives together and of course our children all hidden away ready to pop in his stocking. I loved them so much I even ordered some more as gifts for family!
What’s in your head determines what’s in your wallet.
Wallets for football fanatics
Love looks through a telescope; envy a microscope.
Telescope phone camera lens
I hope you now have some inspiration for Christmas stocking fillers for him. You have just a few weeks to get your shopping done so why not pick up your favourite stocking fillers as soon as possible?!
Wishing you a very Happy Christmas from my growing family and me this year!
