In our home, Father Christmas brings stocking fillers rather than expensive gifts, to make it fair for everyone. That doesn't mean, however, that he doesn't need an idea or two for what to bring. Here are my top picks for stocking fillers for her this Christmas.

True love is like a pair of socks; you’ve got to have two, and they have to match.

Socks

I love me a comfy, soft pair of socks and they always make a great gift. It may be a bit cliche to assume that socks are a gift that works well for any occasion but despite popular opinion I do love a pair of socks or two in my stocking. There are so many different types available on the market, from fancy socks to character socks to fluffy slipper socks so you will always be able to find something well suited to the lady in your life.

I only drink twice a year: on my birthday, and when it’s not my birthday.

Bursting bubbles drinking treat

Everyone knows I am a big fan of a gin and tonic in the evening after a long, hard day… but to be fair I’m also happy with a glass of prosecco, fruity cider, wine or even sparkling water! I was sent some limited edition pineapple Popaball bursting bubbles* to try out and I would highly recommend them as a stocking filler for her this Christmas! Is there anything better than a hot bath full of bubbles? With two little girls who love baths it isn’t very often I get to enjoy a solo soak anymore but that doesn’t mean I enjoy them any less. Face Mask

They may not be the most glamorous of Christmas gifts but a lush face mask has always been a perfect stocking filler for her in my mind. John works at Primark and always sees when the new ones come in and makes sure to buy any that I haven’t tried yet for my Christmas stocking each year. They are easy to use, cheap to buy and always leave my skin feeling fresh and fab-u-lous.

Nail File

With so much of my life dedicated to being a wife, mum, blogger, homemaker and so much more, getting my nails done every few weeks is time just for me. However, I have on occasion broken and chipped nails and with an acrylic overlay on my natural nail (yes they really are that long!) it can be hard to fix. Thanks to the amazing Leighton Denny crystal nail file* I have a superior nail file for all my nail care needs. Christmas is the ultimate party season, and what woman doesn’t want to look absolutely drop dead gorgeous on a night out on the town. One easy way to help this happen is to accessorise to the max. I have never worn false eyelashes before, but I love how they look and give your eyes a little extra va-va-voom. Make Up

Wearing make-up always makes me feel like I can take on the world. I don’t wear it all the time but I enjoy wearing it and feel good when I wear it. When it comes to stocking fillers for her, Sleek MakeUP have a variety of products that are a perfect fit. I have been testing out their highlighter palette*, lethal length mascara*, I Divine eyeshadow palette* and Matte Me metallic liquid lip*, and love each item. The Matte Me lip products are definitely my favourites though, coming in a variety of colours and looking lush.

Face moisturiser

Unicorn powerbank*

Squidgy isn’t the only unicorn lover in my home, and I have a variety of unicorn products from bowls to plates to mugs. As a blogger something I am sure to always need is somewhere or something to charge my phone which regularly runs out of battery with the regular use for tweeting, Instagram stories and more. When life gives you hands, make handmade.

DIY Card Kits

I have always loved doing a bit of arts and crafts, and there is nothing more special than a handmade card at Christmas. There is so many reasons to love Craft Buddy’s Crystal Card kits* and I really think they make a perfect addition to any stocking. You don’t have to use it for Christmas, it’s a great activity to keep the lady in your life occupied and will look awesome when it’s finished!
