Disclosure Policy
Me Becoming Mum is my personal blog, which is written and edited by me, Naomi. Please note, I do not belong to any company or business.
All of the opinions expressed in my published posts are my own, unless otherwise stated.
I do, on occasion, publish guest posts. I review the content contained within these posts, but please note that any opinions expressed within them are those of the author, and may not reflect my own personal feelings. All guest posts will be clearly labelled in the extract, and have a disclaimer placed at the top of the post in question as per the ASA guidelines.
Within some of my posts, I may include links & tags to third party pages which are controlled & maintained by others. This is not an endorsement of these sites & please note I am not responsible for any content found there.
Some of the links to products that I include in my posts will be affiliate links, which means that having them in my blog can potentially earn me money. I will only link to products if they are relevant and are items that I myself own and use. All affiliate links are indicated by the use of a dagger (†).
I will - and do - receive items to keep in exchange for reviewing them and sharing my honest opinion.
When I receive products for review, or inclusion in gift guides and round-up posts, a disclaimer will be placed at the top of the post in question as per the ASA guidelines to ensure I remain within the letter of the law. In gift guides and round-up posts, these products will be highlighted by the use of an asterisk (*).
I try to ensure that any information provided about the products I review is correct and up to date. However please note that any claim, statistic, quote or other representation about said products should be verified with the manufacturer, provider or party in question.
Within the extract of my post, I will clearly label if it is an advertisement. Below is a guide to the disclosure types you may see on my site:
[AD] This content has been paid for. This includes when I have received payment in gift vouchers or coverage of my fees.
[AD | Gifted] For this content, I was sent a product in return for an honest review.
[AD | Press Trip] For these days out I was provided entry to an event or venue in return for an honest review.
Even though I may receive compensation for my posts, I will always give my honest opinions on my experience of using the products.
