“The stockings were hung by the fire with care, in hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.” If, like us, ol’ St. Nick delivers your stockings I’ve got the perfect gift guide for you. Read on to discover my top stocking filler choices for him and for her this year.
For him and for her
Because… Covid
Hand sanitiser and hand cream
Tongue in cheek these may be, but they are almost certainly useful - especially in the current climate. I’d imagine I'm not the only one who feels like their skin is being seared off by the copious amounts of alcohol we are lathering on our hands at the moment. Whilst a bottle of hand sanitiser makes a great stocking filler; make sure to also include a bottle of hand cream to boot.
Sweet tooth treats
Luxury favourites
Their favourite chocs
Any guesses what John's favourite chocolate is? No? No way you can look at these pictures of caramel and white chocolate goodies and not guess! Sweet treats go a long way to being a perfect (yet slightly unhealthy) gift to bulk out the stocking. You can buy big bags of chocolate, sweets, licorice and more for £1 (or less!) and they are sure to be appreciated and very quickly fill any gaps in the stocking.
Healthy bites
Christmas tipple
Mini gins and liqueurs
Eco-friendly & practical
Bathroom basics
Toothbrushes
The packaging is recyclable and compostable.
The brushes are biodegradable bamboo.
For every brush bought, they plant a new tree.
They also donate a brush to a UK child in need for each one sold.
What could be better than an eco-friendly and sustainable gift?
Toothpaste and mouthwash
You've got the brush, time to make sure the other essentials are included. I prefer Colgate myself, but John is a firm Sensodyne Pronamel fan. An expensive choice for sure, so I keep an eye out for when it's on offer (like 50% off in Sainsbury's recently!) Mouthwash can kill up to 99% of bacteria, so it's definitely a perfect addition to this little stocking filler gift set.
Wash stuff
Obvious? Maybe. Cliché? Probably. Essential? Definitely. The Great British shower and body wash market is worth just under £400 million per year. I mean, we all have to wash, right? Stock up on a few essentials such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash and other items your partner uses as you'll have usefull stocking fillers ready to go.
Driving essentials
Air fresheners
Future fun
Box of favours*
For her
To look nice at home
Lashes
For him
Footie night faves
Bottle opener
