Pickle's Maternity Photoshoot | Aleeka's Dreams Photography
Did you catch my maternity photoshoot post last week? It had a throwback to the photos we captured of Squidgy as a baby bump. This time around, we had a very different experience thanks to Lesley from Aleeka's Dreams Photography. I absolutely adore the amazing photos we have this time around, and can't wait to share them with you.
There was two main differences with this maternity photoshoot.
It was held outdoors.
We, of course, included Squidgy in the photos!
Each photo we recieved from this photoshoot is perfect in its own way. Plus, I cannot speak highly enough of how professional and patient Lesley was with us. Especially when including a two year old like Squidgy who part way through decided she was bored!
This time around, I had a few new ideas, as well as wanting to recreate a couple of the same shots we had during the maternity photoshoot for Squidgy.
This time around we obviously already had our first rainbow in tow, and had to include her in the photos with her baby sister bump. Squidgy for the most part loved being involved, kissing me, and kissing Pickle and the whole experience was so magical... these are for sure moments I will treasure forever.
I won't lie to you; healthwise, I am not 100% at the moment. Pregnancy always seems to take it out of me physically. The one thing I love, however, is my baby bump. No matter how ill I was feeling, even I have to admit I and look lovely in these shots!
We have had such amazing feedback from our friends and family about these photos. Now begins the real countdown! The next time we see Lesley will be with a newborn in tow for family photos. Without a shadow of a doubt I trust that the photos will be just as beautiful, and those memories just as special!
