Eyemouth Holiday Park | Parkdean Resorts

Heading away for the half term holiday before I start my new job was just what I needed to rest and reset. We tried a new (to us) Parkdean holiday park this time around, and had a wonderful time.

Read on to discover everything you need to know about Eyemouth Holiday Park and our half term holiday stay.

The Caravan

Here are a few things about choosing the caravan that you may want to consider if you want to book a visit.

  • Extra wide models are preferable in my opinion, we found the standard ones too narrow.

  • An ensuite toilet is worth it if you can, having an extra toilet when there are 6 of us staying (including a toilet training toddler) is essential.

  • If you're going away with children, cots and bed linen can be provided. However we bring bed guards and back out blinds.

  • Again, whilst size crockery, cutlery and glassware can be found in the caravan, if you're heading over with children don't forget to take sippy cups, cutlery and anything else you feel they may need depending on their age.

What's available at Eyemouth Holiday Park?

The arcade

As per usual, one of the children's favourite things to do at the holiday park was the arcade. 2p machines are a fun way to keep them occupied for a wee while. Plus, if you fancy putting a little more money in, there are fruit machines and games to play too.

The playground

The play area at Eyemouth Holiday Park is small but perfect and all four children enjoyed the time we spent there.

The restaurant

With an app for easy ordering, a fully stocked bar, snacks, and meal deals available, the restaurant is a great place for everything from breakfast to tea time.

Other facilities too

The local pool allows entry to guest of Eyemouth Holiday Park, plus entertainment is available at the showbar and restaurant. There are plenty of options for children and adults alike to enjoy.

In the local area

The beach

Just a short walk from the caravan park will bring you to the local beach. If you're looking for a quick, easy, and free day out close to the holiday park this is ideal. Head over to discover cliff top walks, rock pools and of course beautiful sandy and shingle beaches.

Plenty of family-friendly days out

Whether you head over the border to Northumberland or stick around in Scotland, there are plenty of wonderful days out for all the family including:

With that, I close out another post full of memories of a wonderful family-friendly weekend away. If you're looking to visit the North East with your family, Eyemouth Holiday Park would make a great place to stay.
