When I started this blog, I was pregnant with Pickle. If you’ve been around for a while you may already have seen the pregnancy announcement post I wrote for her (if not click here!) Well guess what? After a long, hard couple of years, two miscarriages and a diagnosis of secondary infertility which I wrote about here, I have some super exciting news to share.
We’re having another rainbow!
When did we find out?
If you follow me on social media you may have seen that we recently made a huge move to Cumbria from Watford. Well, although we waited to tell everyone until after we had our dating scan last week, at just over 13 weeks; we actually found out just days before we moved! After telling immediate family, including the girls, we made the decision to keep things quiet until the dating scan.
When was our dating scan?
Turns out we had our dating scan a little later than usual, at 13+4 instead of around 12 weeks. The baby is healthy and growing well, although they decided they were going to play up the whole time and dance and bounce, making it super hard for the sonographer to make the measurements she needed.
How did we make the big announcement?
After we had our dating scan and knew that everything was alright, we chose to tell everyone straight away. Once again we knew the first thing to do was tell extended family, and close friends, of our big news. Then John and I chose two different announcements to tell the world of our third rainbow.
My announcement
John, Squidgy and Pickle + Bump and Me = A family of five!

I cannot wait until we reach October and are able to (hopefully!) find out if we’re expecting another little lady, or maybe this time a little boy baby! For now, I am just happy to say that after a long, hard road we are finally on the road to another healthy rainbow baby.
