FAQs about our family days out
Is it suitable for children?
Like most every wildlife park and zoo, The Lake District Wildlife Park is 100% a family-friendly day out. We loved having an annual pass, and have enjoyed every visit from seeing Santa to feeding the ‘pacpacs'as Munchkin calls them!
Is there anywhere to eat?
Whether you (like us) enjoy taking a picnic from home for your days out, or fancy grabbing a bite to eat in a café, The Lake District Wildlife Park is set for both. If you pop to the café for a brew, be sure to grab a slice of homemade cake. They are lush!
Are there facilities available?
Yes! Just beyond the entrance and gift shop you'll find facilities suitable for the whole family including accessible toilet and changing spaces.
There are so many wonderful days out for children in the Lake District, and this is up there as a top choice! I hope you have all the details you need to plan the perfect day out at The Lake District Wildlife Park.
