The Essential Kit for Weaning | Tidy Tot Review | Me Becoming Mum

Every child is a different kind of flower, and all together make this world a beautiful garden.

When Pickle first joined our family, we realised how true the above statement is... although as well as being beautiful our world was a whole lot messier once we started weaning. With the amazing Tidy Tot bib and tray kit we were kindly sent; everything from weaning to messy play can be done without mess or stress.

I have tried all different designs of bib from coveralls to ones with lips for catching mess and some way or another Pickle always manages to make a mess. No matter what I tried I would be forever finding crumbs in and stains on her clothing, and even (who knows how) in her nappy. Endless piles of washing later we tried out the mum-of-three designed Tidy Tot bib and tray kit and with the gap between the tray and coverall bib eliminated we finally discovered a route to no more mess and stress.

Reasons we love our Tidy Tot

The Tidy Tot bib and tray attach to your high chair tray

Having something that fixes to the high chair means that we don't have to worry about Pickle pulling it off, as she so often does with other bibs (leading to many stained outfits!)

The Tidy Tot bib and tray fit to almost any high chair

We have tested the Tidy Tot bib and tray on a number of different high chairs, including our travel on and although some fit better than other, it still works with every one.

The Tidy Tot bib and tray can be used by boys and girls alike

With the neutral patterning we have been able to use our Tidy Tot not just for Pickle but for Lucas when he has come for lunch and dinner too. Especially useful as he is even more messy than my kids!

The Tidy Tot bib and tray fold up into a handy travel bag

I love that no matter where we go we are able to take our Tidy Tot with us. Once it's folding up into it's bag it can be slung over your back or popped inside a suitcase without a second thought.

The Tidy Tot bib and tray is all you need throughout your weaning journey

With the distinct lack of gap between the bib and tray, the adjustable Velcro on the bib and of course the fact it fits to pretty much every high chair, the Tidy Tot is all you will ever need until your babe is old enough to not make so much mess. Having popped it on a six month old and my own one and a half year old I can atest to its fitting throughout the weaning journey.

The Tidy Tot bib can be used on its own without the tray

If I am in a hurry, or we are all sitting at the dining room table, sometimes it is easier just to slip the Tidy Tot bib on to protect Pickles clothes. Its long sleeves and body ensure that she is covered no matter what mess she tries to cause.

The Tidy Tot is super easy to clean

One of the most important things as a parent looking for products for their children is how easy it is to clean... and with its wipe down tray and machine washable bib, the Tidy Tot could not be faster and easier to clean.

With worldwide stockists and free U.K. shipping, it may not be the cheapest bib on the market but it is certainly worth every penny for the chance to no longer have to worry about the mega clean up mission and constant ruined clothes after every meal time. It's a durable, waterproof and above all stress-free way to wean your child and I cannot recommend the Tidy Tot bib and tray kit enough.
