Treating Your Cat | Purrfect Box Review

I was recently given the opportunity to review a box from Purrfect Box, who offer subscription boxes for your cat, containing a range of toys, treats and other items chosen for you and sent direct to your door. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by the box when it arrived, and love the idea behind it.
My initial reaction when the box turned up was how lovely the packaging was. Despite the fact that the box is for pets, Purrfect Box have definitely made an effort to ensure that from the start you fall in love with their product. The branding is adorable, and they even have special stickers to seal the box closed!
Once inside the box you then discover they have even added in a little wrapping too! I really like the addition of the tissue paper, which to me made it feel more like the company had made an effort for you; rather than just chucking a few products inside a cardboard box!
I thought the fact that there is a decent range of products inside the box was a wonderful thing. Purrfect Box made sure to include a number of different items, all of which fit the various aspects of your what your pets needs, from food to toys.
As I was sent December's box, it of course included Christmas themed items. It was a great touch, to know that the items inside were thought about before being placed inside. I also think that it is a great way to make sure that you are always receiving something new, unique and different throughout the year; by placing products inside that match the time of year.
There was everything from a squeaker snowman to a play & fill stocking to keep with the Christmas theme, as well as a nice new blanket, a pouch of food and a box of lovely treats.
My kitten is almost two now, but still loves to play just as she did when she was a tiny baby cat! Her favourite item from the box was the gingerbread man tease toy, which she spent ages chasing around - especially loving the bell that was attached to the stick.
Although there was smaller toys that she could play with alone, it was nice to have something that I could use to involve my toddler in the fun; even if she did spend quite a lot of the time almost hitting Jess around the face with the stick by accident!
As we often use the basic food brands (having two cats means that food is a massive expense each month!) having a pouch of Iams inside the box was definitely a massive treat. Jess absolutely loved it - and the whole pouch was gone within minutes! I have never seen her eat so fast, and she even licked the bowl clean - so she must have enjoyed it!
I was certainly impressed by everything from the box itself, to the products inside, to the great reaction that the items received from my cats.
If you don't have a cat, but have a dog that you would like to treat, you can do so on the Purrfect Box sister site - Pawsome Box!
