Treating Mama | MamaMe Box Review | Me Becoming Mum
I was lucky enough to receive MamaMe's January subscription box, and the final message from the mama behind the brand in our emails was, "enjoy treating yourself mama!" and enjoy myself I did!
My initial reaction upon opening the packaging, was to smile. The effort that had been made in adding a little bow, with tags and branding was lovely to see. When I opened the box, the soft, happy colours that greeted me gave me an almost immediate glow inside - it felt as if whatever I would find inside was bound to cheer me up.
They are also beautiful. Some are monochrome but others are brightly coloured - but all of them made me feel wonderful as I read through them.
I'm not really a massive fan of coconut as a general rule, but this product has surprised me, because I really do love it.
It's cute, easy to wear, will go with any outfit and has such a lovely sentiment! I absolutely love mine, and I am still wearing it - I've not broken it yet!
I love candles. There is something soothing about the flickering of the flame, and when they are scented they are even better.
This candle has a lovely subtle smell, which is beautiful and not overpowering making it lovely to light in order to eliminate smells without gagging at the smell!
I have really enjoyed treating myself with these lovely items inside my Mama Me box... relaxing, unwinding and reminding myself that I matter too. Being a mama is not an easy job - even if it is totally worth it - and we all need to make sure that we take a little time out for ourselves, so that we can continue to be the best that we can be when we are raising our mini humans.
I have loved seeing their posts pop up when I am scrolling through my Instagram news feed; and it has made me fall even more in love with their brand. Like me, they are supporting other small businesses with the items they include - and there is nothing better in my mind! If you follow them, it is also a perfect opportunity to check out these small businesses that Mama Me works with!
You can also send a box as a gift - so if you know a mama who needs a pick-me-up, why not order one of these lovely Mama Me boxes to send to them.
