Every time Comic Relief's Red Nose Day comes around I love to watch all the TV specials, donate and of course buy a funky Red Nose from the new selection available. As Squidgy was barely a year old the last time it was on, I was super excited that she is now old enough to (sort of) get involved.

I have compiled a list of must have products for toddlers, we wouldn't be able to go a day without.

Recently, on a trip out into town, I was stopped by a lady who appeared to be in her late 30s or early 40s to tell me how beautiful my girls are. However, she didn't stop there. The comments that followed are the reason why I decided to write this post.

This week we've spent a few days with my sister-in-law and her family, and that has meant that we have had two full of energy almost-three year olds to entertain. This has been, in a word, difficult. Especially as, just like most toddlers, both girls get bored of one activity rather quickly and want to move on to another.

This month, I signed up to take part in the BritMums #VicksTricks challenge sponsored by Vicks. This challenge is all about finding out what tricks we use to make our children feel better when they are unwell... Sadly we have been suffering with a mixture of snuffles, runny noses, and coughs over the last few weeks - so this post could not be any more pertinent right now!

My husband was snuggling our eldest daughter the other day - whilst I was upstairs changing and feeding our youngest - when she looked up at him and said, "I miss my mummy, daddy." After I had put her to bed, he told me what she had said; and I cried.
