My Charm Story

I was recently tagged by the lovely Sarah from Arthur Wears in the post she published over on her blog about her charm story, to write about my own. So here is a little bit about my own charm bracelets.

I am lucky enough to have two Pandora charm bracelets; a sterling silver charm bracelet and a beautiful purple multi-strand bracelet. Here is a little bit about the stories behind the charms you would find on them.

Love, Family & Friends

I have a variety of charms on my sterling silver Pandora charm bracelet, some from my husband, some from my parents and some from one of my best friends.

From My Parents

Rocking Horse; because horses are my favourite animal, a lovely gift from my parents.
Openwork Hearts; because they love me!

From My Friend

Butterfly Pendant; one of two, the other is on her bracelet. The new-school version of the old school necklaces we all had in the 90s!
'Best Friends' Heart; A beautiful addition to my bracelet, to carry with me always.

From My Husband

Gift Box; because a wrapped up gift is perfect as a birthday gift.
'Love' in Different Languages; the first wedding anniversary after I got the bracelet was 2014, and this was the charm he chose.

Two Tone Heart Pendant; This is one of my favourite charms. For our fifth wedding anniversary my amazing hubby bought this gorgeous charm. Alongside the others he has bought me it is a wonderful reminder of two things... How lucky I am to have found such an amazing guy and also how romantic he is!

My Children

It's A Girl; This heart is a beautiful reminder of the fact that our first born is a beautiful daughter.
Elf's Workshop; to celebrate our girl's first Christmas, I was given the elf workshop openwork charm. I love the memories that come from seeing the charm, and thinking of all that happened during the first Christmas we spent together as a family.

Angel & Feather; If you have read any of my previous posts, including Overcoming my Secret Fear and Miscarriage - The Great Taboo? you will know that I lost two babies in the past. The feather was bought as a reminder of our first baby. The angel was bought after the loss of our third.

Christmas Tree Pendant; I didn't find the company that we chose to order this gorgeous pendant from - Little Silver Memories - until after our girl's first Christmas so I had to settle for having it on her second. This amazing handmade pendant has an engraved imprint of R's handprint. It may be in the shape of a Christmas tree, but it is always on my bracelet.

I now nominate the following lovelies to tell me about their charm bracelets:

Nicola from Sparkles at Midnight

Ami from My Mummy Spam

Sophie from Milk and Assal
