Christmas Through the Years 2018

Today I am sharing some of my Christmas memories from years gone by. Christmas is not only my favourite time of year; but it's the time that some of the best memories have been made. Here are some of my top moments from Christmas through the years.

2014

Squidgy was born in February so by the time her first Christmas rolled around she was a little older and it was so special to enjoy our first Christmas with a little one at home. Children really do make Christmas more magical.

2015

December in 2015 was hard for me as I suffered a miscarriage, however I still made an effort to make Christmas as magical as possible for Squidgy. One of the most amazing things we did was see the Coca Cola truck when it came to town, something even I hadn’t ever done before.

2016

In December 2016 we not only celebrated Christmas but we had Pickle join our family ten days before the big day! It was the best Christmas present ever.

2017

Last year we celebrated Pickles 1st birthday and took her for her first visit to see Santa. Our house was decorated with more lights and decorations than ever before (see it here) and we had an amazing Christmas at home together as a family. Plus it was the first year the girls saw proper snow, and at Christmas time no less!

2018

This year has been one of many ups and downs, but the countdown to Christmas has been just as magical as ever. This year the girls are both of an age where they really appreciate Christmas and can join in decorating, baking and more.

There are so many memories I have of Christmas over the years. For example, 2010 was John and my first Christmas living together, 2011 was our first Christmas as a married couple. However I couldn’t possibly share them all, and Christmas has really been at its most magical since the girls joined us!

I hope you have enjoyed having a look through just a few of my top memories from the past few years. What is your favourite memory from Christmas through the years?

Wishing you a very Happy Christmas from my family and me this year!
